Well, here’s the princess. I’ve attached a pic of the day after we got her when she was 2 months old. She has my boys wrapped around her paws! There’s another picture of Connor with her—he’s been able to hold her like a baby ever since she was little and she lets him! She is now almost 8 months old and weighs 4.5 pounds. Everyone falls in love with her. She yips at you occasionally when she wants something like she’s talking to you. First thing in the morning, she runs up to my 14-year-old’s door, waits for you to open it, and then runs up into bed with him via large pillows set up as steps for her (he has a high bed). If the pillows are not in place, she is put out, big time, and yips until you fix it for her! It’s very funny to see her personality–she knows how to communicate with us. We have a purse carrier for her that she hops right into when she suspects we’re going somewhere. It’s a great thing to carry her in–we’ve shopped like that for a whole afternoon before and she’s been fine. One of her favorite toys is half of a plastic egg left over from Easter that she plays with like she’s playing soccer, batting it back and forth across the floor. She’s definitely been a joy with the changes in our family! My boys (14 and 7) have never had a problem cleaning up after her/feeding her, etc., and run to see her first thing if they’ve been away from her for any length of time. She’s a definite cuddler and jumps into your lap once she sees you sit down. She knows her “blankie” and gets ticked if she doesn’t have it for herself. One time she was around a tomcat, probably 10 times her size, and I thought she’d run, but no……she went right up to it, barked, and the cat ran away and was scared of Gabby! Too funny!
