just wanted to give a quick update regarding Phoebe…
She turned a year old at the end of June and she’s just the most AMAZING dog!!! She’s completely mellowed out and has been a great family dog. The kids love her and look forward to seeing her each morning! She’s also so very smart and very easy to train (especially for a small dog). She just wants to please and follows me around all day long. I leave her out all day now, even when we’re gone, without any hesitation. She just sits by the window and waits for our return. Truly, adopting her is the BEST thing I’ve done. I’ve found my “dream dog”!!!
We are just LOVING our new baby!!! We decided to name her Phoebe and she’s doing wonderful. We have finally turned the corner on potty training–She goes to the door now! She’s so very smart too and just aims to please. We took her to my parents’ house in Sioux Falls over the Thanksgiving weekend and she did wonderful. My parents were afraid to have a puppy in the house again, but were pleasantly surprised with how good and loving she is. I think they even miss her a little bit!!! I can’t say enough good things about your dogs.
While I’ve loved all my dogs, there is something special about her. I never knew a puppy could be so low maintenance either. She’s just healthy, spunky, and loving. We couldn’t ask for more. She gets spayed after Christmas–Ugh!
